The high FSH hormone clinic, which is offered in our Centre, specialises in the treatment of women suffering from Premature Ovalian Failure (POF), Premature Ovarian Aging (POA) and Diminished Ovarian Reserve (DOR).

Following extended research, our Centre, applies the administration of DHEA in women  with POF ie women with early menopause, under the age of 40 years with  FSH levels over 40 – 130mIU/ml in order  to improve the levels of FSH and enhance fertility.

DHEA is natural pro hormone and is available as a dietary supplement.  

We published our first encouraging results of DHEA treatment in the medical journal Fertility and Sterility Fertility and Sterility of the American Society for Reproduction. Since the publication, many IVF Centres  have implemented DHEA treatment, thus helping a lot of women with high FSH worldwide.

Thereafter, we extended DHEA treatment in women with premature ovarian aging, ie women 35 to 46 years of age and  FSH 12 - 40mIU/ml who had previously had poor response to high doses of hormones. In these women, treatment with DHEA in combination with milder protocols of ovulation induction had very good results.

Finally, treatment with DHEA was  also extended to women with Decreased Ovarian Reserve  (DOR) who present with  normal FSH levels​​, but a small number and poor quality oocytes, despite the administration of high doses of hormones. A significant number of these women can be helped with individualized mild ovulation induction protocols in combination with DHEA.
