The 2008 Annual Congress of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine was held in   San Francisco from 8 to 12 November. During the Meeting,  all the latest scientific developments were presented and serious ethical problems regarding the new methods of assisted reproduction were discussed.

In this Congress, Dr. Leonidas Mamas presented the 6 years results of clinical application of, the new method  of insemination, the Intrauterine tuboperitoneal insemination (IUTPI, L. Mamas Method). The encouraging results of the new  method caused a pronounced interest among the scientists. The method is already used by renowned Centres of Assisted Reproduction around the world.
