Various causes are responsible for this disorder: pelvic inflammation (Chlamydia trachomatis), previous surgical pelvic operations (lower pelvis) and the uterus (inflammatory abortions or inflammatory miscarriages). These conditions may cause: pelvic adhesions, obstructed fallopian tubes, hydrosalpinges that may be expressed by lasting pelvic pain, pain during intercourse (dyspareunia). Salpingo – peritoneal screening includes: Hysterosalpingogram 2 or 3 days after the end of the period and laparoscopy, which could be diagnostic or therapeutic.
