It has been observed that scraping of the endometrium during a hysteroscopy results in the increase of pregnancy rates. In the Athenian newspaper “Vima Science” on Sunday 13 October 2013, it is mentioned that the number of pregnancies following IVF is doubled when the IVF procedure is performed after the endometrial scrapping.
International studies on endometrial scrapping that were performed on a large number of women who had suffered repeated implantation failure and where published in scientific journal, confirm the encouraging results [1, 2].
We have also observed in our group of women that in cases where the endometrial polyps is removed by scraping during hysteroscopy achieve pregnancy faster and more easily.
