Ovulation dysfunction is usually revealed by menstrual disorders. The following procedure is followed for the menstrual cycle check – up:
- History of the menstrual cycle (frequency and duration of the menstrual period).
- Progesterone count on the 21st – 23rd day of the cycle by a blood test.
- Ultrasound monitoring of ovulation.
- Biopsy of endometrium (in certain cases).
Pregnancy is the only actual evidence of ovulation.
